Sustainability is an easy science to fall head first for if you’ve always been a conscientious consumer or avid environmentalist. It seemed like a natural fit when I fell into my current job as a sustainability coordinator. That lead to me heading up the first registered student organization at ASU Polytechnic. We are known as SANS- Students Act Now for Sustainability. We are affiliated with ASU Tempe’s Sustainability Coalition as well as other organizations such as R.A.D., Sustainable Jedi, Eco-Aid Now and GIOS-Global Institute of Sustainability. GIOS is also who currently employs me. The projects we have been engaged in are discussed on the Sustainability projects page.
